MANILA — Former actress and “Miss Flawless” hitmaker Angelica Jones is poised for a political comeback in Laguna after she clinched the top spot as a board member in the province’s third district.
Jones, who ran as Angelica Alarva, was among those proclaimed election winners in Laguna on Wednesday.
In 2016, Jones sought the vice-gubernatorial seat of the province, but settled for third in the three-way race at the time.
Prior, she had served three terms as board member, effectively putting her showbiz career on the sidelines.
