Eight-division boxing world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao

Matthysse of Argentina.

“Manny starts his training for the fight vs Lucas Mathysse. The
bout will take place in Kuala Lumpur on June 24. Pacquiao says
he’s excited to fight Mathysse as he is an aggressive
fighter,” ABS CBN’s Dyan Castillejo tweeted on

Manny had some roadwork and also some light shadowboxing on
Monday morning.

His longtime coach, Freddie Roach, was not present during his

Pacquiao announced last week that he will be fighting against
reigning WBA Welterweight World Champion Lucas Matthysse in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this coming June 24.

Matthysse has 39 wins, 4 losses, 36 via KOs; Pacquiao had his
WBO title loss to Jeff Horn in Australia last July 2017 while
Matthysse is coming off from a win over Tewa Kiram for the
vacant WBA welterweight world title just this January.
