Margielyn Didal advances to semis in Skateboarding Global Qualifiers

MANILA — After her golden performance in the 2018 Asian Games, Margielyn Didal continues to roll as she placed eighth in the quarterfinals to qualify to the semis of the Street League Skateboarding Global Qualifiers in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The Philippine Sports Commission announced Saturday on its Facebook page the result of the competition where Didal tallied for 11.1 points.


Japanese skateboarder Aori Nishimura led the contest with 18.6 markers. 

Meanwhile, Filipino Daniel Ledermann settled for the 56th spot of the 110 male skaters in the competition.
