‘Stranger Things’ stars comfort Pinoy kid after classmates skip his birthday party

He was left heartbroken after none of his classmates showed up
to his “Stranger Things”-themed birthday party.

But this Pinoy kid must be feeling a whole lot better now after
receiving messages of support from the stars of the hit Netflix
show themselves, led by Eleven, Millie Bobby Brown.

This Tuesday, the British actress replied to a Twitter post
from the young fan’s sister, who called out the “punks” who
passed up an awesome-looking party that mixed fun “Stranger
Things” nods with Filipino food.

“What!!!!” wrote Brown, before promising Aaron that she would
attend his birthday next year if she gets an invite. “I think
you’re awesome and next year I would like an invite… Please?”

Brown’s fellow cast member Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin,
soon chimed in and volunteered to bring snacks. There were also
messages for Aaron from Cara Buono and Shannon Purser.

Aaron, said to be from California, also got support from
Filipino social media star Bretman Rock and former “America’s
Next Top Model” contestant Justine Biticon.

Aaron’s sister later gave an update, after her tweet went
viral, garnering more than 260,000 likes.

She said that her younger brother had fun at his party with
family nonetheless, and that “if his classmates are gonna
invite him, he won’t go. That’s his payback.”
