WATCH: Pacquiao meets young cancer-survivor

A young boxing fan dealt with a life-threatening disease saw his wish come true when he met his idol, Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao in Los Angeles.

Jonah was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness in 2016, when he was just four years old.

“We made the trip to LA. We are big fans of Manny Pacquiao,” said Mark Villamil, the father of Jonah. “One of our children became severely sick. He is known as ‘Little Pacquiao’ at our academy.”

At the time, the “Pacman” sent Jonah a video through Facebook, where he prayed for him and wished him well in his recovery.

“He was struggling before, and he asked me to pray,” said Pacquiao. “Thank God, because Jesus healed his sickness. He has leukemia (but) he’s cancer-free now.”

Pacquiao autographed several gloves and took photos with the family, before giving Jonah a warm embrace.
